London in multi-media form.

I'll post an actual narrative of what I did today (and I did a lot!) tomorrow. But for now, have some video and some photos. Note in the video how I flub the names of the bridges. For the record, the bridge I call Waterloo is Lambeth, and the funky looking one I can never remember the name of is the Jubilee pedestrian bridge. The actual Waterloo Bridge is beyond that.

And if you click on this picture, it'll take you to my photo album.

Since I've not been back to London for some time, this is going to be a fun trip for me too! The pics are an added bonus. Have a peaceful sleep tonight, XX, PJL (& JGL)

Thanks for sharing the video!

Regarding the lack of a hub and spoke design at Dulles, when the airport was originally built, those funky mobile lounges (the vehicles which take you from the main check-in terminal to the gate) pulled directly up to the plane. Passengers would board the mobile lounge and be wisked to baggage claim. Very convenient and no walking/waiting for the mobile lounge. But now the lounges take passengers between the main check-in and the several terminals that comprise Dulles as it has grown. No more dedicated mobile lounges for most planes...

BTW, the terminal where Virgin Atlantic is housed is beautiful (I was in that terminal in November - it also houses AirTran). Clearly British Airways is not in that same terminal... : )

Great pictures! Keep them coming. What did you eat so far? Any new beverages?
